In mid June of 2018, we drove out to Beaumont, California to attend a festival hosted by one of the nation’s largest organic lavender farms. The grounds were stunning, the vibrant purples of the lavender buds were more intense than we had imagined. The acres of lavender fields perfumed the air with that naturally sweet scent. The heavenly smell captivated all that were in attendance of the festival, including us.

It’s hard to describe just how strikingly beautiful the vistas were. The lavender fields, the mountains, the 1,100 year old oak tree- it was unreal. Walking through the fields, we came to the same conclusion: we wanted to share this feeling with our friends, family, and beyond. Crafting and art have been a big part of both our upbringings, so the idea to try something new was a natural one. We realized with our hunger for knowledge and having locally sourced ingredients we could make deliciously scented beauty products to share with the world. After trying our hands at creating these products (and personally testing them!), we found we were hooked. The creative outlet and the quality time we got together while making products were a perfect match.
